These Overnight Oats are a powerful way to start your morning. Boasting 20-30grams of high quality fat to regulate your blood sugar and the absorption of the complex carbohydrates in the rolled oats.
Ingredients
1 can full fat coconut milk
1 ½ c rolled oats
3 T chia seed
2 T flax seed
2 tsp Vanilla
1 T cinnamon
1 cup Almond Milk (or other milk alternative) or Yogurt
2 scoops Protein powder of choice
1-2 T Sweetner of choice
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend to desired consistency. If you prefer more whole oats then skip the blending and simply stir ingredients together.
Pour blended mix into a container and place in the refrigerator overnight (at least 4-6 hours).
Enjoy topped with butter toasted pecans, berries or other favorite oatmeal toppings.
